Mothia Winery
The "MOTHIA" winery is located one step away from the island of the same name which lived the glorious past of the Phoenician people and the enchanting scenery of the salt pans. The structure, built in the early 1900s, was used, after the war and for about thirty years, for the transfer of grapes from the vineyards of the Stagnone Nature Reserve and surrounding areas. |
In the area facing east there is a large barrel cellar in precious oak wood, which contains wines with over 30 years of aging, a reserve of inestimable value, which represents an almost inexhaustible source of yeast. In the south-facing warehouses, a barrique cellar has been built in a thermo-controlled environment, where the wines are stored for further refinement. |
The wines produced by Cantine Mothia are always consistent and balanced, intact and complete on the palate. The Bonomo family carries out a very careful selection of the finest grapes, which are vinified with painstaking care and with extensive use of modern technologies, in order to obtain products of great quality.
